It's incredible humid today in New York. I went down to Union Square, I wanted to make Ratatouille before I went to rehearsal. The stupid wholefoods paper bag burst because It was so wet from the humidity. It's supposed to rain again today I hope It happens soon so this cloud will go away. I can smell the Ratatouille baking in the kitchen. I used all local ingredients so It should taste pretty awesome. I think I made way too much though, I don't know what I'm gonna do with it all... Anyone want Ratatouille?
Rehearsals are going well, Last night the murderer scene was the best that It has ever been. It got me thinking of the nature of the beast. How you can have this amazing performance that you are so proud of but in the end it is a fleeting moment that can't be relived ever again in the same way. It lives only now in the mind of those few who were there to see it.... I hope we get good audiences this show, even if the play is 3 hours long....

Beautiful Rain Shower
Today during rehearsal the sky went from light to dark. The wind started to chill from flat and hot. It was one of the most beautiful things I ever saw, I looked up from the bench and the clouds were grey spun sugar rolling in the silver color that the sky had turned. It was like a fog machine I felt like i was incased in glass bulb that smoke was being blown into. The thunder here scares me more than it does in California. It completely surrounds you and you feel it in your body. The lighting outside my window lights up my entire room. It's haunting and I sometimes wish I wasn't alone in the house. Of course the harshest storms always happen when my roommate is gone.

Hot, humid Shut In
I read all of Jose Rivera's Cloud Tectonics on the Subway and was left in awe of what he does and how he uses words. I hated the Epilogue though. He should have just left the ending to his reader but that can be said of most epilogues. I remember a girl in College doing the "I love sex" monologue and now I know just how comical and terrible she did it now that I've read the play. I can't believe how everyone loved it. Man, sometimes people with high opinions are wrong, wrong, wrong.
